This project consists of restoring an old farmhouse built in the early 1900s in McLean, Virginia. The farmhouse was left on the property as an auxiliary building when a new house was built on the lot in the 1960s. Over half of the structure was removed and reframed. New roof sheeting and shingles, windows, and exterior doors installed. New cedar wood siding, all new electrical, plumbing, and a complete HVAC system installed. New water and sewer line pipes installed underground to service house. New insulation, drywall, hardwood floors, interior doors, and trim installed. A complete new kitchen and bath installed.
